Average daily generation this month = 12.18 kWh (predicted average is 10.80 kWh)
Max daily generation this month = 21.18 kWh
Min daily generation this month = 3.31 kWh
Total generation for this month = 365.38 kWh
So the from a numbers point of view September was like August but with one day less. The average was almost the same, the max was slightly lower than in August, the low was slightly higher than August and the total generation is really just showing the difference between 30 and 31 days in a month.
Yet we had more days near or above 15 kWh in September than in August. OK so maybe I'm being affected by the wonderful weather that we have had over the last week (and the fact that this weekend is looking to be terrific as well) - still go and compare the September chart to the one for August.
So far only August has not exceed the predictions, and it was almost spot on. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues.
We have generated a total of 2661.3 kWh of electricity since installation (back in early April) and avoided/saved a total of 3999.94 lbs (1814 kg) of CO2.
Stats from, and musing about, our 3.995 kW solar panel array (17 Sharp 230W panels) - located in the UK (near Cambridge) and pointed SE (roof pitch of 46 degrees).

15.63 kWh generated in 11.5 hours
Now that is more like it. Ok so the day isn't as long as it was a few months ago - still there is plenty of sunlight! It was a nice day to be outside. :)
This is a great example of just how much the time of year impacts the amount generated. A nearly perfect graph and yet not quite 16 kWh - pick a day in May with the same shape of graph and you would be looking at a 26kWh day.

Looks like the sorting hat from the Harry Potter stories! :) Of course it needs a bit of meat on it - say another 5 kWhs? :)

Such a great start to the day only to have the entire lunchtime sun disappear. :(

Nice to see we are still getting days like this; Almost perfect start to the day, albeit followed by a rough afternoon.

August Summary
So August is over. The weather since we returned from holiday has been a mix bag - ranging from meh to bah. :(
Average daily for the month was 12.22 kWh (vs 15.4 kWh for July)
Max daily generation was 22.72 kWh
Min daily generation was 3.04 (actually we had 2 such days - and they are the new lowest daily readings)
Total generation for the month as 374.19 kWh (vs 481.97 for July) - what a difference a single month can make.
Oh well - guess I am looking forward to September. :)

This is getting a bit tedious. And it wasn't a very good day anyway. :(

Talk about a day of extremes! At least that is better than a 3 kWh day. :)

Yup you read those numbers correctly. :( Look at that graph! Never even reached 0.7 kW generated at any given point. :( This is what the average in December is supposed to be like - not keen on days like this in August.
